Shitty wizard: "I cast levitate"
O.k. Druid: "meld with stone: *I* fall, everyone else dies, I am now the mountain."
Good rogue: "I get uncanny dodge, I might not die."
Godly barbarian: "greater uncanny dodge, paired with defensive rage, and my gnome racial cantrip giving me false life, If I roll less than a 5 on my reflex save, and then take maximum halved damage, I will survive for 7 more turns before my extra health and strength wear out. Worst case scenario."
The cleric: "oh well. Can I be a paladin next game?"
Gm: "no, you misunderstand, it's godly damage ;-)"
Satanic f***ing sorcerer bulls***: "it's good guys: I cast 5 fireballs. As a free action. Ooh, and then meteor swarm. And then soften earth. And that should leave me with, what, 4 empowered wish spells? Oh, and I make 15 golems to hold up the ceiling. That means only 2 empowered wishes left."
Gm searches frantically: " what about the somatic components?"
Sorcerer: "motionless spell"
Gm: "how'd you get that?"
Sorcerer:"I'm human: bonus feat"
You see, it's funny because dnd is balanced
